The idea for the Fall Gathering was hatched after a trip to another, much larger homesteading conference, much further south.  While it was a great time, I felt some of the info presented was more relevant to those in the southern parts of the country.  After mentioning this to some friends, they agreed, and we hacked the first Fall Gathering together in 2022 with only 3 months notice.

For 2023, we are expanding on the success of 2022, and more than doubling the size.
